This online program is designed to be a thorough introduction and review of the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and management of potential perio/restorative treatment candidates. It is in no way meant to serve as the authority on treatment nor does it serve as certification of any level of competence or mastery. Each student is responsible for their own self-governance and must apply mature and professional decision making when deciding on a course of treatment or an appropriate referral to a specialist.

Each student enters a continuing education program with a unique and personal level of skill, expertise, training and experience. Any advice or material presented during this program should be applied and used with responsibility commensurate with each individual's level of competence. This program is one of others available on the subject. One's journey toward mastery should be a compilation of many perspectives, years of experience and good judgement. The program manual does not contain the entirety of the program. It is meant to serve as a thorough document and guide to supplement the presented material. The highest level of learning occurs with immersion and connection to the presented material.

At the completion of this program, there should be an immediate increase in familiarity and knowledge on the subject. It is not realistic to expect mastery from an online program. I have been doing this for 29 years. Some of the cases may appear to be simple when in fact they are quite complex. Please apply the material carefully, slowly and responsibly.
